Looking to leap into the New Year with some edge? Today we are offering you lovely ladies makeup tips to inspire you to look and feel confident in 2014.
First, you must create a blank canvas, smoothing out any imperfections; use a lighter concealer that stimulates collagen to firm the skin. If you have issues with dark circles, use a yellow tinted concealer to cancel them out, such as DoubleDeception. (Under your eyes, you want to make a triangular shape rather than focusing only on those dark circles to give a more blended and natural look)
Then, you MUST prime your eyes. You can use either DoubleDeception concealer, or Skin Perfect Primer by Dermalogica.
Use the lightest color to highlight under your brow bone and in the corners of your eye to open them up. Blend a color of your choice on the lid of your eye. (Using a shimmer shadow will bring more dazzle to your eyes).
Going into your crease line with a darker shadow will create more depth; start in the middle and fan out to the end of your lid. (to blend, work the brush towards your eye)
Now apply some black eyeliner with a thin liner brush across your lash line to give them a fuller appearance. (Optional: Flick the brush upward using the end of your brow as a guideline for a “wing”)
For voluptuous lashes, use Show Off in a wiggle motion, and after the first coat dries, curl them.
