Fiery Red to Sexy Blonde Hair – Aurelio Salon in NJ
When our client Brittany informed her stylist that she wanted to change her fiery red hair to blonde she knew she was in for a challenge. She informed her client that this will not happen over night and will take time. It actually took 4 visits to achieve the look she was looking for.
The top left picture is Brittany with her brightest red,
The bottom left picture was after her first visit at Aurelio Salon in NJ. She had a silk bath first and then Elumen was applied.
The bottom right picture was after a full head of back to back foils this lifted most of the red out.
On the third visit Brittany was given some highlights. (Sorry no picture of the third visit)
On her fourth visit her stylist went in with a root touch up and a full head of highlights. In between her highlights she pulled Blonding Cream throughout the hair to lift everything to a sparkling blonde. She glazed her with Colorance to add shine and neutralize any unwanted yellow tones.
The picture on the right is Brittany end result, a beautiful sun kissed blonde.
The Styling Team at Aurelio Salon offers these two tips from going to an intense color to blonde. First do it the RIGHT way, do it in a span of 3-4 visits depending on the integrity of the hair. Second use color removers like Return from Elumen instead of running straight to a lightener, the more color you can remove without using lightener the better quality the hair will be in the end.
